A little irritated

I don't know. Maybe I have a case of the Mondays. But I'm just a bit peeved at the moment.

For this weekend there were quite a few different things going on that Marilyn could have done (candy events, pumpkin stuff, trick or treating and the likes) and these were mentioned to me. However, there was no follow up, no one called me to ask anything about them.

And frankly, I'm just a tad bit insulted. Marilyn would love to do some of these things but I don't know what's going on if no one is calling me. And I feel like we're almost kind of left out of the loop. It's insulting. What's so wrong with me or my kid that people don't want to do anything with us? We're fun aren't we? Obviously not if the only people who want to do anything are grandparents and Aunt Holly.

Sheesh.

But other than that this weekend was good, very productive in ways not related to school. However, I am getting my wisdom teeth yanked out of my head in a couple of hours and I have a short paper to write and a bit of reading to do tonight as well. I've got some meat in the fridge for some tasty hamburger helper and I'm hoping to reel Holly in to help me for a little bit later on today.

I don't know. I'm just a bit bummed that Marilyn isn't really anyone's favorite aside from my immediate family. She's such a great little kid too. Ugh.
