So we did have the caseplan meeting this afternoon. I generally think that it went quite well. There were many statements throughout the entire document and other discrepancies which I objected to and that will be amended in the following versions of the caseplan which will be revised and redone in a week. I am astonished by the lies of the original caseworker and how she is painting out the behaviors of my children. She has already proven her character multiple times by this point and no doubt will continue to do so throughout the rest of this process. The current caseworker is limited by how much she can change, as the original caseworker has filled the file and report full of lies and over exaggerations. I do feel bad for her because she just got all of this on Thursday and hasn't really even been in office. However, that is no excuse as these are my children they are dealing with. It was nice at some points how she reacted to various statements that I have been told as well. It continues to affirm how I have been lied to throughout this process. I'm not happy that I have been lied to at all, but it will come out.
My attorney was present at the meeting and he was very good about taking notes. Tomorrow is going to be a big day with the pretrial and then the girls going to my dad's house. I don't quite know what to expect but I only hope that it will be a good day overall.
The only hoops that they want us to jump through is counseling and an evaluation for Mark. After much dispute, they do seem willing to let us go with independent providers outside of their immediate collaborative agencies (which I do not trust whatsoever). The caseworker is going to consult with her supervisor regarding another physical examination of Marilyn, this time with my attendance. I explained to her the nature of the last examination and how my children typically react when faced with dr's. Add that onto the already traumatic and stressful situation that they are already in.
She didn't seem to think that there would be any further issues. After the girls get evaluated, as long as there are no other referrals for additional services, and the criminal investigation and assessment go well, there does not seem like there will be any other issues.
I hope not.
