Sunday Funday

On a more positive note (and I thank you for the comments on my previous post), my day yesterday dramatically improved. It wasn't a full 180, but it was close. After Mr. M got home (and subsequently discovered a bag of his personal toiletries and all of his clothes in the hallway....) thoroughly apologized. Then, (because he knows how to suck up) we cleaned and took a family trip to Walmart wherethen we shopped throughout the entire store and ended up coming home with a bunch of new houseplants and a bunch of other little stuff that we needed.

He then cleaned the whole living room from top to bottom. I'm not going to say that I was super impressed because I have discovered that the living room is pretty much the only room in the house that he will clean (and in my opinion, the easiest although usually the messiest).

But the day ended much better than it began.

This morning started off somewhat interesting. Although I was less than thrilled when I once again was woken up around 6, atleast I was able to go back to sleep and sleep in. But when I awoke, I was surprised to see Mallory kicking about around the bed sans diaper. I don't know how she got it off, but she got it off. And then when I peeked over at a deeply sleeping Marilyn, she was completely naked. I noticed a crumpled pile of pajama and diaper next to the toilet so that explains Marilyn, but Mallory, I still haven't figured that one out.

We've been working on the potty training thing for quite a while and she does quite well. Lately I've really been pushing for underpants and so we don't even use diapers anymore unless she's at daycare or at night. We don't have that many accidents at all. She's even really good when we go out and about and will hold it until we get home, I just have to remember to put her on the potty as soon as we get home or else she will have an accident. She'll hold it for hours though....little weirdo. :) I feel that I can say with confidence that I believe she will be potty trained completely by her birthday in September. She's 19 months now and she's doing excellent.

We are going to color Easter eggs today at Grandma T's house. I'm thinking of bopping around and doing some shopping, or maybe taking the girls out to lunch for Indian food or something. Mr. M is gone for the day racing and so whenever I know we girls have the whole day, I try to do things I know he wouldn't be so thrilled about, such as eating foreign foods, clothes/thrift store shopping, and visiting.

He just found my old camera the other day and I'm uploading the pictures off of the memory card now. I can't find the converter card for the memory card for the newest camera. Such are my woes.

I got the girls playing the Wii this morning. Marilyn effectively was able to shoot atleast one balloon on Wii Play. Other than that, I think the concept of playing was fun enough for them, because they weren't getting it at all.

Anyhow, here are some absolutely adorable pictures that were on the old memory card:
Marilyn sleeping in a slip

Marilyn doing the Borat (Mal did the same thing not too long ago....tee hee)

and then Baby Chub-a-love Mal.

Those pictures are from February and March of last year..... I have to reboot the computer for it to read the new memory card......
